Fun at the Pumpkin Patch

We took the kids to the pumpkin patch today. Last year Izzie was too little to be very interested, but she had a blast this time. She loved to play in the straw and slide down the slide. Brady crawled through these dark tunnels made out of straw bales and we rode the hay ride out to pick out our pumpkins! It was really a lot of fun. I wasn't sure if Izzie would be managable in this kind of place, but she loved it. She couldn't get over the ponies. She kept calling them doggies and tried to get through the fence to get to them.

Big Night at the Football Game

Brady's flag football team was introduced last night at the high school football game. I hadn't been to a game at the high school before and I'm amazed at the production they put on!!! It was amazing. Brady and his team got to run out of the big football helmet before the game. He thought that was pretty cool stuff! He wanted to go again, but of course the big boys had to play. Ricky, Brady, and I went and then went out for pizza afterwards. We had a great time! Brady was glued to the game the whole time!

First Grade, Football, and 2nd birthday
Well, we have been busy! Big Boy Brady has started first grade and is doing great! He has a very nice teacher and seems to be off to a great start. He has also started flag football. He scored a touchdown at his very first game on Saturday! We also had Izzie's birthday party on Saturday. She was a little frightened by all of us singing to her. She still doesn't totally get the idea of birthday, but she loved her new presents and her cake of course!

First Sleepover

Brady had his first sleepover at a friends house last night. His friend from school, Lorenzo had a birthday party and sleepover. I think Brady was a little nervous, but there was no way he would admit it. He seemed to have a good time and Lorenzo's mom said he was the last one to fall asleep. There were only 4 boys that went, so I don't think it was too overwhelming! Of course, I had to take his picture before he left.
