Eggs, hunts, and more

We had a busy day! We had our "More than Eggs" program at church. The kids were put into groups and then moved through stations. We started with the Easter Egg hunt. Brady is not very aggressive when it comes to hunting for eggs with other kids. When he does it at home, he's quick, but I think he gets intimidated by the bigger kids. But he got some eggs and had fun. Then we made cookies. They were blessing cookies. They were kind of like fortune cookies, but the papers we put inside were Easter blessings. Then there was a "tour" through the classrooms. Each classroom had a lesson. It was all about the children learning about making sacrifices. Brady had a good time. I still need to get a good Easter book for him to tie it all together. I also took a picture of the HUGE cross we have in our sanctuary for the Easter season. I think the size of it just makes such a huge impression. I know my dad would like to see it, so here's a picture for you dad! Then we colored eggs when we got home. We tried the glitter eggs. Not too impressive, but we had fun! I've baked my cake and cut up my veggies. I think I've done as much tonight as I can! Looking forward to tomorrow!
